TorqueMaster® safety counterbalance
TorqueMaster® is Wayne-Dalton’s exclusive counterbalance system that safely and cleanly contains the springs inside a steel tube. This helps prevent injury that could result from the accidental release of tension. Having the springs contained in the metal tube also looks much better than exposed springs and prevents the collection of dirt and grime on them.
Expanded polystyrene insulation
Our 8100 Model Garage Doors have expanded polystyrene insulation offering thermal performace with an R-value less than 5. Insulation also helps dampen noise.
Bottom weather seal
The Model 8100 has a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside.
Windload options
Wayne-Dalton doors are available with Windload options in areas with the toughest windload

Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants the 8000, 8100, and 8200 garage doors for a period of TEN YEARS from the time of installation against deterioration such as cracking or splitting due to rust-through. Other conditions and exceptions contained herein apply.
The Manufacturer warrants the garage door hardware and track, excluding springs, against defects in workmanship or material for a period of TEN YEARS from time of installation.
