Choose decorative hardware and accents
Each collection consists of four 16" x 2" hinge straps and two 9" pull handles. Every piece is made from black powder coated steel with a hand-hammered look. Additional accent pieces are available to match or complement each collection.

TorqueMaster ® Counterbalance
TorqueMaster is Wayne-Dalton's exclusive counterbalance system that safely and cleanly contains the springs inside a steel tube. The TorqueMaster design helps prevent injury that could result from the accidental release of tension.
Having the springs contained in the metal tube looks much better than exposed springs and prevents the collection of dirt and grime on them.
TorqueMaster ® Plus is an option available for some doors that features an anti-drop safety device. If a spring should happen to break while the door is in the up position, the anti-drop device will stop the door from going into a free fall.
Polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation
All Model 6100 doors come with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, with an R-Value of 9* giving excellent insulating ability to control energy costs.
* Insulation values have been calculated in compliance with DASMA TDS-163 industry standards.
Bottom weather seal
A bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy.
Lifetime Limited Warranty
Wayne-Dalton warrants the 6100 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door from the time of installation against structural failure (rendering the door inoperable) of the door sections due to separation/degradation of foam insulation.
